![]() During lectures I need to be attentive, and this is not the first time this has happened. I genuinely don’t know how much more of this I can take. I reenabled and disabled and it worked for a few minutes before again. Today during lecture, it stopped working again. ![]() I asked then and there about this continuous issue of my touchscreen randomly stopping, and I was told that now that I have downloaded the driver again, these issues should stop indefinitely. It fixed the problem for that night and the Intel Precise Touch Driver reappeared (finally). I went on live chat with a Microsoft employee, and they got me to download some file which contained the driver (they sent me a link I went ahead and downloaded the contents). I looked for it in the hidden tab, I tried to reinstall. ![]() I read a Microsoft article that said to uninstall the driver and I did that and it was not reinstalling. Sometimes I will disable and then enable it and it will fix the problem for the next few days or it will only fix it for 5, 10 minutes and it will stop working again. Usually to fix this problem, I enable and disable the Intel Precise Touch driver and it works (sometimes). Since the beginning of this year? More or less, my touchscreen always randomly stops working. I’m a college student, and got this SP in September as I saw it was a good 2 in 1 laptop and tablet that could would prove useful.
